8. Three-Point Numbers
James has never claimed that the three-point shot was the strongest aspect of his overall game, but he’s acquitted himself well and has been fairly consistent with his long-range shot. Entering the final week of the 2015-16 regular season, he’s connected on 33.9 percent of his three-pointers over the course of his career.
While Jordan’s three-point numbers are much less consistent, his percentage is close to that of James’ at 32.7 percent. In the first two seasons back following his first retirement, he was at his strongest from long-range. However, that came after plenty of work after hitting less than 20 percent of his attempts during his first four seasons.
