10. Most Valuable Player Awards

LeBron MVP

Being chosen as the best player in an individual season is the highest award for a player and is something that James has earned four times. The first two selections came during the final two seasons of his first stint with the Cavaliers, while the latter two came as a member of the Miami Heat. The latter two awards were connected to James helping lead the Heat to consecutive titles in 2012 and 2013.

A five-time winner, Jordan was first named MVP in 1988 before being supplanted by Magic Johnson in each of the next two seasons. However, Jordan captured the award again in both 1991 and 1992, leading the Bulls to their first two titles. Four more championships would follow, with Jordan being tabbed as MVP in both 1996 and 1998.

Jordan is already a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame and James is an absolute certainty to follow him once he ends his career and becomes eligible.
