7. Cory Joseph, PG, San Antonio Spurs
With the Spurs signing Kawhi Leonard to a max contract and being rumored to be the leaders in landing coveted power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, offering deals to players like Patty Mills and/or Corey Joseph could prove to be difficult. The Spurs have already made a qualifying offer to Joseph, a backup point guard, but he has yet to accept.
If the team needs to clear any more cap space, he could hit the free agent market, and would be a great addition in Cleveland. Joseph has been overshadowed in recent years by the play of Tony Parker, Mills and shooting guard Danny Green, but does provide consistency, as proven by his 47% shooting from the floor. Joseph is the type of player that does not need volume shots to be effective and could pick his spots with the array of high profile players he would potentially be playing aside.
