Green is a player that the Cavs could desperately use off the bench as the 6’8″ guard has a skill set very similar to that of Smith. Last year in Phoenix, Green averaged 11.9 points, while shooting 35.4% from deep in 19.5 minutes. However, when given the minutes, it’s obvious that Green flourishes. During the 2013-14 season, the former NBA Slam Dunk Champion averaged 15.8 points on 40% shooting from three in 28.4 minutes of action. His consistency is much greater than that of Smith’s and that could be what sets the Cavs apart from Finals participants to NBA champions.
