Other than the Western Conference semifinals, where they needed seven games to dispatch the Houston Rockets, Phil Jackson’s squad rolled, including winning in five against an Orlando Magic team that had eliminated the Cavaliers. Their last 43 games were one game better than the Celtics from the year before, with a 34-9 record.
