6. Strength in Numbers from Three-Point Range
Curry and Klay Thompson are as dynamic of a duo as any in recent memory as far as scoring points in bunches in a hurry. But it’s the Cavs who lead the NBA this postseason in three-pointers made per game (14.4) and shooting percentage from that distance (.434). Frye is a ridiculous 26-of-45 for 57.8 percent, and Love and Irving are among five other players shooting better than 40 percent.
As prolific as the Cavs can be playing a style of game more commonly associated with the Warriors, they’ve proven they can win without hoisting up three after three. In a Game 1 blowout of the Raptors, they went only 7-of-20 from long range as James did the bulk of his damage driving to the basket and attacking the rim.
