Off-the-court problems have no doubt played a major part in Lawson having the worst season of his career with the disappointing Houston Rockets. Prior to this season, the point guard put up impressive numbers and his contract status isn’t guaranteed past this year. That may make him an option for the Cavs, though his issues have scared away plenty of teams. Whether or not the team considers them a threat to their chemistry and how much Lawson can actually contribute are questions that might be under review.
