The soon to be 36-year-old Prince is only making the veteran’s minimum, so buying him out isn’t a problem. The issue is how much he may be able to contribute to the Cavs, since his offensive numbers with the Timberwolves are virtually non-existent during his average of 21 minutes per game this season: 3.2 PPG and 2.0 RPG. Prince was part of a championship team with the 2004 Pistons, so having his experience may have some benefits.
