One of the NBA’s rising stars on a young Utah Jazz squad, Gordon Hayward continues to get better and better after every season. Heading into the 2015-16 NBA season, his rapid increase in scoring and solid defense has placed him in good company among the top tier of small forwards in the league.

Last season, Hayward put up very good numbers in Utah as he averaged a career high in scoring with 19.3 points to go along with 4.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.4 minutes per game.

As many Cavaliers fans know from early last season, Hayward was the player who drained a clutch buzzer beater over Tristan Thompson in Utah’s 102-100 win over the Cavs on November 5th at EnergySolutions Arena.
