The finale of the 2014-15 regular season featured one of the most exciting MVP races in recent memory, featuring weekly jaw dropping performances from Steph Curry, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook was forced to carry a depleted Oklahoma City Thunder team with a season-ending injury to Kevin Durant. The point guard used this opportunity to post an absolutely bonkers line of numbers. On the season, Westbrook registered 28.1 points, 8.6 assists, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game.

While he couldn’t drag the Thunder into the brutal Western Conference playoffs, Westbrook established himself as one of the top point guards in the league and remains the primary reason why Durant would stay in Oklahoma City.

Next: Stephen Curry
