Last season, the Cavaliers were able to reach the NBA Finals despite being without Love for the last 16 postseason contests and playing without Irving for the last five games of the finals. Even when Irving was in the lineup, his health was hanging by a thread until his knee finally gave out.

Both of them enter this coming postseason healthy, with Love focused on getting the full experience after watching his season abruptly end last year. During his three-plus playoff games last year, Love’s three-point shot was connecting at better than 42 percent, six points higher than his career 36 percent effort. Meanwhile, Irving is often a clutch presence down the stretch.
