After being a part of a rebuilding project in Boston and now with the Lakers, Bass could be a trading chip for a Los Angeles team that needs some flexibility of their own with potential free agents. He’s making $3 million per season through next year, but may not offer much in terms of production.

The main contribution that Bass may provide is in the mold of James Jones: an experienced veteran who exhibits a great work ethic and has the respect of coaches and teammates.
