The Cavaliers not only struggled with injuries last season, they also didn’t have their core team for the full season.

Key players such as Mozgov, Shumpert and J.R. Smith were not even on the roster until about midway through the season when they were acquired in a trade with the New York Knicks.

This will be Mozgov and Shumpert’s first training camp with the Cavaliers. An 82-game season with their teammates will be pivotal for chemistry purposes by the time next year’s postseason rolls around.
