5. Playoff Experience
Before the 2015 postseason began, Love and Irving never played a single playoff game in their NBA careers.
Tristan Thompson and Matthew Dellavedova ended up as starters during the NBA Finals and had never played a postseason game before this past season.
The most experienced postseason performers among the 2014-15 Cavaliers were James, James Jones and Mike Miller. That just paints the picture of how inexperienced this talented bunch was last season.
The 2015-16 season will be a different story as now the Cavaliers’ key players have gotten a taste of playoff experience. Expect that to pay huge dividends as Cleveland continues its quest to win its first championship.
