Realistically, the Cavaliers may be able to sign him as a free agent if rumors of Milwaukee buying out his contract are true. He also played for Coach Drew last year and would be a solid addition if his head is on straight. He’s had plenty of off-the-court troubles the past few years, including a pair of suspensions for testing positive for marijuana. His motivation level has also been questioned. Sanders could very well be a chemistry experiment that could pay off handsomely or blow up in the team’s face.

In many cases, the more rumors that surface about pending deals, the less chance they have of actually taking place. By Thursday afternoon, we’ll know if any of the above players are coming to help the Cavaliers, with the answer possibly giving the fans a window into the team’s chances come postseason.
