If the Cavs do deal for Nelson, he’ll be playing for his fourth team—this season. Having just turned 33 on February 9, he’s in his 11th year and has seen his offensive production drop. Still, he’s averaged over 20 minutes a game, which could truly help Irving if he’s even able to come close to his numbers in Orlando. The Nuggets are cleaning house, but supposedly their GM Tim Connelly will drive a hard bargain to give up Nelson.
