Having spent much of the past three seasons with current Cavalier Mike Dunleavy as a member of the Chicago Bulls, Hinrich is a veteran player who engenders a lot of respect in the locker room. When he was dealt to the Hawks in February, many teammates were reportedly upset.

Hinrich will turn 36 in January and his numbers have seen a major decline over the past two years. He could serve as a bridge to helping develop Kay Felder for the future, though the Cavaliers already have James Jones serving that role. Still, he can easily fit into what would be Williams’ departed salary.
