Another Bulls player that has been involved in trade rumors is Jimmy Butler. Butler and the Bulls have seemingly been on uneasy terms for quite some time, and the addition of ball-dominant players like Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo will likely not be something that sits well with Butler.

Because of this, those trade rumors, which have recently quelled, could resurface and Butler could find himself on the way out. A possible trade could be something like Butler for Love and Smith, which would be beneficial for both teams.

A Butler-Irving backcourt would immediately become one of the most dominant in the league. It would allow James to play more power forward, and would bolster the Cavs defense by a pretty significant margin. For the Bulls, it puts a shooting guard on the roster who does not need too many touches in Smith. It would also allow the Bulls to build a Big 3 in Love, Wade and Rondo that certainly meshes better than Butler, Wade and Rondo.

A Love-for-Butler swap has been in the rumor mill for sometime now, and if the Bulls cannot get out of the gates early, the rumor may become a reality.
