4. Pack the Paint with Bigs

Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mozgov against the Warriors

The two bright spots of Game 4 was the play of Mozgov and Tristan Thompson. Mozgov continues to be the Cavs’ second-best option on offense as he led the team with 28 points and 10 rebounds on 9-of-16 from the field in Game 4. Thompson continues to be an immediate force on the glass due to his size as he led all players with 13 rebounds along with 12 points.

As mentioned earlier, the Cavaliers as a team shot 68 percent in the paint. Their shooters have been non-existent and have struggled drastically from the perimeter all series long. Blatt needs to make his big men an absolute focus in the paint.
