The last of Kobe Bryant’s five NBA titles was the second straight for the Lakers, with Bryant doing most of the heavy lifting along the way. His scoring almost doubled that of Pau Gasol, with no one else contributing more than 1,000 points in the regular season.

Bryant’s ability to will his team to a seven-game win over the Celtics in the NBA Finals was evident, considering three of the other main contributors turned out to be Lamar Odom, Metta World Peace (aka Ron Artest) and Andrew Bynum. All three either had been or would become clubhouse cancers that couldn’t be depended upon.
