The top two choices that year were Oscar Robertson by the Cincinnati Royals and the logo himself, Jerry West by the newly-transplanted Los Angeles Lakers. Both went on to legendary careers and are players that were no-doubt Hall of Famers. Just four picks after West, the St. Louis Hawks chose another Hall of Famer in Lenny Wilkens.
