Robin Lopez offers hilarious message after agreeing to deal with Cavs
- Updated: July 2, 2022
The Cleveland Cavaliers made a nice veteran acquisition in free agency on Friday when it was announced that they signed big man Robin Lopez.
Lopez, who has been playing in the NBA since 2008, will offer the Cavs another backup at center who can come in when Jarrett Allen needs a breather. Shortly after the news dropped that Lopez would be joining the Cavs, he issued a hilarious message to celebrate the occasion.
Just how strict is Cedar Point with those maximum height limits?

As many Ohio natives know, Cedar Point is a massive amusement park just west of Cleveland. While the amusement park does have some fantastic rides, Lopez likely won’t be able to enjoy some of them. Some rides at Cedar Point have a height limit of 78 inches, and Lopez towers over that.
His frame is one of the reasons why he’s enjoyed such a lengthy career in the NBA up to this point. Though Lopez won’t be able to enjoy some of the rides in his new home state, he will be able to enjoy the ride that is being on the Cavs.
Last season, the Cavs established themselves as one of the best young teams in the NBA. Though they just missed out on the playoffs, a healthy roster with one more year of experience under its belt should be able to get over that hump easily in the upcoming campaign.
While the Cavs roster is filled with young stars, there are also several veteran players. Lopez will join players like Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio to form a nice core of veteran leaders. Surely, that should help the Cavs a lot as they look to continue ascending into the upper ranks of the NBA.
