Cavs News: Rodney Hood Leaves Cavs-Clippers Game With Back Injury
- Updated: March 9, 2018
One of the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ newest players, Rodney Hood, came out of Friday night’s road clash against the Los Angeles Clippers due to an apparent back injury.
Cavs say Rodney Hood has a lower back strain and will not return
— Joe Vardon (@joevardon) March 10, 2018
Hood played six minutes in the contest before leaving, missing all three of his shots from the field. Since the Cavaliers will be staying in Los Angeles to face the Lakers on Sunday night, Hood won’t need to travel and will receive treatment over the next few days. His status for that Lakers game is currently undetermined.
