On Wednesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers had agreed to a deal that sent point guard Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and Brooklyn’s 2018 first-round draft pick.
However, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, that agreed upon deal could be voided after Thomas underwent a physical today. After a trade is agreed to, all players must pass a physical exam, or the deal can be voided.
Sources: After Isaiah Thomas underwent physical today, Cavs still evaluating injured hip and weighing options w/ completion of Irving deal.

Apparently, the physical may not have gone as planned as some close to the process described Thomas’ medical clearance as a “sensitive situation.”
As one source involved in the process involving Thomas' medical clearance told ESPN late Friday night, "It's a very sensitive situation."
