Irving has made it clear that he is interested in being the offensive focal point for his new NBA squad, so would he be happy playing second fiddle to Giannis Antetokounmpo? While it is an interesting question, thanks to the fact that Irving does not posses a no-trade clause, the Cavs do not have to worry about it.
The two unprotected first-round draft picks have clear value as the Cavs look to build towards the future. Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon have a lot of upside as well, as they both have shown an ability to play defense on a multitude of different player types and both shot over 40 percent from behind the three-point line last season.
