For the New Orleans Pelicans, the interest in acquiring a ball-dominant point guard like Irving is clear. The current face of their franchise, do-it-all big man Anthony Davis would be a perfect complement. He can use his range as a way to open up the lane for Irving, and use his post game when Irving needs a break. For the Cavaliers, this trade would only garner much interest if they see Cousins’ inside dominance and physicality as the key to dethroning the Warriors.
