The veteran journeyman’s career has been marred by stints of poor play and off-court issues, but his most recent season with the Milwaukee Bucks proved that Beasley could serve as a valuable and incredibly versatile player coming off the bench. Among reserve players last season, Beasley ranked fifth in the NBA with averages of 9.4 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting career-bests from the field (53.2 percent) and on three-pointers (41.9 percent) with just 16.7 minutes per game. If the Cavs play their cards right and are able to sign Beasely to a veteran’s minimum contract, it could be a match made in basketball heaven.
