4. Love’s Shot Needs to Be True

The Cavaliers now have an additional outlet on offense that they lost last year for the final three playoff series. What might have been continues to be the lament, especially after Kevin Love’s strong start to this year’s postseason. Against the Pistons, he collected a double-double with 28 points and 13 rebounds.

Still, some of Love’s highest scoring games have seemingly come on nights when he’s simply launching up countless shots. Cleveland has had a great deal of success when those shots are more on target, since when he’s hit just 45 percent of his shot attempts, the Cavs have managed to compile an outstanding 29-4 mark. On Sunday, that number was right at 45 percent, helping Cleveland start the postseason right.
