4. Three-Point Shooting

Kyle Korver & Mike Miller

Trailing only All-Star guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, also known as the “Splash Brothers” of the Golden State Warriors, Hawks All-Star shooting guard Kyle Korver ranked third in the entire NBA during the regular season in terms of three-pointers made. The sharp-shooter was ridiculously efficient from behind the three-point line, as he drained a whopping 221 of 449 attempts from long distance.

In addition to Korver, the Hawks have a handful of players who are threats from behind the arc with starters Carroll, Teague and Millsap. Also, players off the bench like Schroder, shooting guard Kent Bazemore, and power forwards Pero Antic and Mike Scott will make the Cavs pay if they are left open from three-point range.

Cleveland will have to utilize their strong three-point shooting to counter Atlanta’s shooting arsenal, which is where J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and James Jones‘ importance to the Cavs as great shooters must consistently be on full display during this series.
