Coming off the back of his monstrous Game 6, LeBron smelled blood in the water. Unfortunately for the Celtics, “King James” was just getting started.

As if his 45 & 15 performance wasn’t enough, James cemented his place atop the throne with a follow-up 31 point, 12 rebound outing, almost single-handedly putting an end to Boston’s “Big 3” era, all while earning his chance at sweet redemption in his team’s second consecutive appearance in the Finals.

The Heat went on to demolish Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden’s Oklahoma City Thunder in five games as James earned his first NBA Championship ring. The rest, as they say, is history.
