LeBron James is the unquestioned king of the chase-down block. During the second quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ Monday night game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he proved why.
Point guard Tyus Jones managed to steal the ball from the Cavs and proceeded to run the length of the court on his way to what he certainly thought would be an easy layup. James had other plans, however, and waited until the perfect moment to leap into the air and smash the ball out of bounds.
"That ball will never be the same!"

James followed up the block by staring Jones down and then talking trash to the entirety of the Wolves bench.
At halftime, the Cavs find themselves down 69-42 to a talented Minnesota team. James will have to bring a similar kind of defensive intensity to the second half of the game if Cleveland should hope to come back and get the win.
