According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Wade gave back approximately $8 million of the $23.8 million he was owed to reach the buyout agreement. Wade was reportedly unhappy with the direction of the Bulls franchise, which seems to be in rebuild mode.

If the Cavs were to indeed land Wade on what is expected to be a $2.5 million deal, they would be the deepest team in the league, with a potential starting five of Isaiah Thomas, Wade, James, Kevin Love, and Tristan Thompson.
