Cavs News: LeBron James Takes Home Two 2017 Players Voice Awards
- Updated: August 18, 2017

On Friday, the National Basketball Players Association announced the winners of the 2017 Players Voice Awards, and it looks like LeBron James will be adding two more awards to his overcrowded mantle.
James was honored for his impact both on and off the court when he took home the award for Global Impact Player and Player You Secretly Wish Was On Your Team.
The first award honored James’ international influence and global brand.

The second award James received was just as deserving, as players around the league admitted that they would rather play with him over any other player in the league.
“The passing, the dunks, the athleticism, the fact that he’s been doing it for 14 years,” Chris Paul said as he explained why James won the award.
Watch what other fellow players had to say about James’ impact as a teammate below.

It’s no surprise that the NBPA felt the face of the NBA in James was worthy of the two incredible honors. Still, James is certainly much more focused on adding several more NBA championships to his list of accolades before he hangs up his jersey for good.
