In contrast to last season, when two key veterans, Shawn Marion and Mike Miller, were virtually non-existent, the Cavaliers have true scoring threats in their place in Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye to come off the bench and supplement what the starters can provide.
Last year, Marion and Miller combined in 20 playoff games to produce 11 total points in 90 minutes on the court. Jefferson and Frye may be able to top that in the space of one quarter of a single game. In addition, the duo’s three-point ability will help stretch out opposing defenses and make the Cavs a tough test for any team to beat four times.
