4. Cleveland Won’t Finish With the Eastern Conference’s Best Record
People are going to go crazy with this prediction, but the Cavaliers won’t finish with the best record in the East this season.
The conference has improved compared to last season with the Heat looking to be a prime threat to Cleveland, and the Milwaukee Bucks signing a top-tier big man in Greg Monroe during the offseason.
The Atlanta Hawks will still be up there as one of the top teams in the East, but it’ll be the Chicago Bulls and Heat that really battle with the Cavaliers for the conference’s top record.
There are too many injuries that Cleveland has to deal with at the beginning of the season for them to simply run away in the East. Look at it as somewhat similar to last season, when the team dealt with chemistry issues.
While the team may not achieve the conference’s best record in the regular season, it will set up the Cavs for something much more meaningful…
