In what many believed would be the turning point of the 2010 Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Cavaliers headed into the Boston Garden with the series tied at one apiece. LeBron, determined to turn the tide in a critical do-or-die series, led the way with 38 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and a pair of blocks as the Cavs demolished Boston’s hometown heroes, 124-95, taking a 2-1 series lead along with it.
Unfortunately, Cleveland could not maintain momentum and ultimately were eliminated by the Celtics in six games. James subsequently decided to hit the road to sunny South Beach and the rest is history.
