10. Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, and First-Round Draft Pick
It’s unclear if the Boston Celtics would be willing to deal the current star of their team in Isaiah Thomas, a valuable combo forward in Jae Crowder, and one of their coveted acquired future first-rounders, but if they were it could certainly help both squads.
Irving’s presence in Boston would give the team an offensive leader who isn’t looking for a new contract right away, and another star to pair with the newly signed Gordon Hayward. For the Cavs, Thomas’ offensive prowess would help replace Irving’s, while Crowder would quickly become one of the best backups James has ever had in his career. On top of that, the pick would give the Cavs a valuable trade asset or the hope for adding a young star in a future draft.
