One of the key issues this season for Cleveland has been its struggles of being able to win back-to-back games or being saddled with countless stretches of playing three games in four nights. That’s a grind that inevitably takes a toll on teams and leads to losses.
The good news is that playoff scheduling offers the normal pace of playing games every other day or with even more time off. With a veteran team like the Cavaliers, that ability to recharge is important and is one reason why they’ve compiled a 24-4 record during the postseason’s first three rounds over the past two years.
