10 Players the Cleveland Cavaliers Could Trade for by the Trade Deadline

10. Jamal Crawford, PG/SG, Los Angeles Clippers

Crawford was another potential acquisition during last summer, and might be seen as a better option than Kevin Martin. That’s because he’s making more than 20 percent less than Martin ($5.675 million), and can also play both guard positions.

He’s averaging just over 12 points per game as a reserve for the Clippers, and very well could be in his final season, this being his 16^th. In that lengthy career, he’s never been a part of a championship team, so he may bring veteran experience with hunger for a title in any deal.

While the Cavaliers could end up saving money on their luxury tax bill by doing nothing, past history and the bitter taste from last year means that such an event won’t likely happen. Who they end up getting might not even be on this list, but the bottom line is that someone will fill that spot.
