In two seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Green was primarily a reserve, coming off of the bench and providing elite athleticism as well as an ability to score in numerous ways. Green could provide these services in Cleveland while being James’ primary backup at small forward.
In addition, the 6’8″ wing would be an added weapon from beyond the arc, as shown by his 35% rate in the 2014-15 season. While this marks a dip from his previous season (an amazing 40% from three), Green would still be a versatile threat, forcing defenses to stick with him while others have the ball.
