The Cavs, who are 37-15 when LeBron is in the starting lineup, are a hideous 2-9 when he is inactive. One of those two wins without LeBron’s services came in a 91-87 win they squeaked out over the then 10-24 Charlotte Hornets on January 2nd, while their other LeBron-less win involved the Cavs’ 99-94 victory over the Portland Trailblazers on January 28th.
This game in particular required Kyrie Irving to have the game of his life in order for Cleveland to come out victorious. Irving played out of his mind that night as he racked up a career-high 55 points on 17-36 shooting from the field, which included a ridiculous 11 three pointers made and a perfect 10-10 from the free-throw line.
