LeBron James is finally back in Quicken Loans Arena for tonight’s matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers, and prior to the game, James received an impassioned standing ovation from the packed crowd.
Prior to the game, there seemed to be an overall sentiment that James would be welcomed warmly back to the city he brought a championship to in 2016, but it is good to see just how warmly he was received.
At the moment the game is quite close, with the 2-13 Cavs holding their own against James and the 9-7 Lakers.
Considering the standing ovation, it seems many fans in the crowd will be happy by night’s end regardless of whether the Cavs get the win or not.
