The 36-year-old power forward has played with five teams over the course of his 10 years in the league, most recently with the Brooklyn Nets. They released the 6-foot-9 veteran on Feb. 27, with Scola averaging 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest in his last season. Both numbers are considerably lower than his 12.0 and 6.7 career numbers for points and rebounds, respectively. Scola would bring a veteran presence to the team, yet he may only end up being considered if the team is unable to acquire any other player.
