Stuckey is flexible enough to play either backcourt role, and has been good for about 13 points per game during his eight-year career. He ended up signing a one-year deal for the minimum with Indiana after Stuckey said his previous team, Detroit, bad-mouthed him.
Stuckey can bolster the depth at guard, which obviously goes a long way when it comes to what the Cavs just endured. He won’t sign for the minimum, but his contract might work well within the tight considerations the Cavaliers have to make, and the chance to win a title certainly is a feather in Cleveland’s cap.
