The 10 Worst Supporting Casts That Helped Win An NBA Championship

8. 1991 Chicago Bulls

Winning the first of six titles in an eight-year span started the Bulls’ dynasty of the 1990’s. The architect of that was Michael Jordan, who outside of Scottie Pippen, had players that might never have won a title without his presence. For example, Jordan scored over twice as much as the third leading scorer on his team (Horace Grant).

The only two times the Bulls would lose during those eight years came when Jordan was either not playing or began playing again late in the season. His stature was such that the overall talent improved in the following years, with players knowing their chance at a title was excellent.
