The Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly signing veteran guard Raul Neto.

Neto figures to be the team’s backup point guard for the first part of the 2022-23 regular season while Ricky Rubio recovers from a torn ACL he suffered last season. Rubio agreed to a three-year deal with the Cavs on Friday.

The former second-round pick has been a solid backup for multiple teams throughout his NBA career, averaging 6.0 points and 2.2 assists per game during his time in the league.

Last season, Neto played for the Washington Wizards and recorded 7.5 points and 3.1 assists per game.
