Cleveland Cavaliers fans may have gotten used to contending for an NBA championship for the better part of the last decade, but times have definitely changed since LeBron James took his talents to Southern California to play for the Los Angeles Lakers a year ago.
Now, with a ragtag roster that is devoid of top-level talent, Las Vegas is predicting that the Cavaliers won’t just be bad, but downright awful.
This comes in the wake of the Cavaliers letting go of veteran guard J.R. Smith, who was one of the last links to the team’s lone world championship in 2016.
In addition, they are rumored to be shopping five-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love. If such a trade is consummated, it will likely lower the team’s final win total even more.
However, it has been reported that the Cavaliers don’t want to trade Love, and that they would consider a trade if they are “blown away” by what the other team is offering in return.
