LeBron James Drops Insane Comment Regarding Michael Jordan and G.O.A.T. Title

The endless debate between fans of Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and those of legendary Hall of Famer Michael Jordan inevitably boils down to which player should be considered the greatest player of all time or simply GOAT. On Tuesday night, James offered a less-than-subtle comment about the discussion that clearly indicates where he feels he belongs.

Singer Justin Timberlake was in attendance at the Cavaliers’ game last Friday night, when James surpassed Jordan’s NBA-record streak of 866 games of double-digit scoring efforts. The following night, James was in attendance at Timberlake’s concert at Quicken Loans Arena, where he presumably picked up the hoodie in question.

Currently in his 15th season in the NBA, James has continued to put up MVP-worthy numbers and is looking to reach the NBA Finals for the eighth year in a row. That’s something Jordan never did and puts James in a rare category with some members of the Boston Celtics. Jordan’s defenders counter by stating that his Chicago Bulls teams won six league titles, compared to James’ three, the last one marking the Cavaliers’ first-ever NBA championship in 2016.

This discussion will never result in full agreement by either side, even when James eventually retires from the game. Until that time, James shows no signs of slowing down and appears to be strongly motivated to make sure that the answer will be an obvious one down the road.
