Green isn’t a great rebounder — career 4.7 rebounds a game — which he’s been criticized for. (Although, if they’d actually watch his tape at Georgetown University, they would’ve seen this coming. Rebounding travels, and he wasn’t a high rate rebounder for the Hoyas. In hindsight, I’m not sure what they expected.) To be clear, Green’s been inconsistent defensively. This has as much to do with his personal desire, as with team objectives and who his teammates are. Orlando was a bad situation all the way around. That said, he’s long-limbed and agile, it’s easy to envision him on the floor with James, changing looks on the floor for offenses.
