Given the possibility of the third consecutive Cleveland-Golden State matchup, the 3-pointer will likely be something that’s used with abandon. The Cavaliers have seven different players that connected for 90 or more 3-pointers during the regular season. One of those seven players is James, who has expanded his game even more by adding the 3-pointer to his repertoire.
While the Warriors’ backcourt duo of Curry and Klay Thompson will no doubt be launching their share of 3-pointers, the only other player that cracked that 90-triple threshold for them was Kevin Durant. Beyond that, Green’s three-point shot only found its way into the basket 30.8 percent of the time, with nobody else averaging more than one triple per game.
